Kristin, Veterinary Technician
I’m from a small southern Colorado town called Walsenburg.
My Pet Family:
I have two cats, Jens and Swift, and a dog we rescued from a Caribbean island named Ringo.
When I’m Not at Cherished Companions, You’ll Find Me…
When I am not working, I’m at home with my five year old son, hiking, doing yoga or hanging out with friends.
I finished 5 semesters at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and previously received my bachelor’s degree at Colorado State University in Biological Sciences.
I decided to work with animals at a very young age and started by volunteering in a shelter for abused and neglected animals.
My Role at Cherished Companions:
I am a veterinary technician, and my role is to care for and support your animals while they are here.
Greatest Thing About Working with Animals:
The one thing I enjoy most about working with animals is all the big dog kisses you get throughout the day.
Favorite compliment from a customer:
“Thank you for everything today! You were great.”
I have two years of veterinary school under my belt. I am taking a short break but intend on returning soon.
