I am a Colorado native who grew up in Loveland and moved to Denver for school.
My Pet Family:
Personally, I own a 5-year-old Golden Retriever names Eli. He loves to swim and go on walks and is such a happy dog at all times.
When I’m Not at Cherished Companions, You’ll Find Me…
When I’m not at Cherished Companions, you can find me going on hikes with Eli or finding new fun spots in Denver with friends.
I just completed my Bachelors of Science in Biology at the University of Denver this June.
Fun fact about me: I have clinical experience in small animal care, horse dentistry, and exotic zoo animal care from all my time spent shadowing veterinarians in different types of animal environments and clinics.
I have always owned pets growing up and am such an animal lover, and my love for animals is how I made my decision to go into the veterinary field. My long-term goal is to attend veterinary school, work in Africa for a few years on an animal game preserve, and then move back to the U.S. to work within a small animal clinic or possibly a zoo.
My Role at Cherished Companions:
When I am at Cherished Companions, you can find me training to become a veterinary technician. My role here is to provide the best care for your beloved pets by emsuring their comfort, safety, and health. I love providing care for pets, and I am very excited for all that I get to do for them at Cherished Companions.
Greatest Thing About Working with Animals:
My favorite thing about working with animals is that each animal has a different personality that makes them who they are. I think that, overall, animals have such kind souls and they bring so much good to people’s lives.
