My Pet Family:

I have always been interested in reptiles, so I have a lot of them. There are three leopard geckos, and one of them, Marley, was the first pet I ever had on my own. I also have a ball python, a corn snake, and a crested gecko that was the first pet my fiancé and I picked out as a couple when we bought our home.  We also have Zuko, a husky/lab mix, who is the first dog we’ve had together as well!

When I’m Not at Cherished Companions, You’ll Find Me:

At home crocheting, at the dog park, or shopping with family & friends!

My Education:

I have a bachelor’s degree in Biology.

Career Choice:

Since I was a little girl, I enjoyed being around animals and always wanted to work with them. Through the years, I went back and forth between working in a zoo and working in veterinary medicine. Once I graduated from high school, I decided on vet medicine and started down that path—and here I am today!

The Greatest Thing About Working With Animals Is…

Having a hand in helping them be happy and healthy. Our pets are so innocent and mostly unable to help themselves, and I feel very lucky to be able to do this. Plus, there is always more to learn about animals so that part of it is very exciting!
