Julia, Veterinary Technician
My Pet Family:
I have Bichon Frise named Coco who is very sweet and loves everyone she meets.
When I’m Not at Cherished Companions, You’ll Find Me:
Playing ultimate frisbee, hiking, hanging out with friends and family, and volunteering with rescue horses.
I have a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from the University of Wisconsin–River Falls.
I have wanted to be a veterinarian since I was 5, as helping animals was a big passion of mine growing up. Working/volunteering at various rescue sanctuaries/veterinary hospitals confirmed my love for the field and that I want to do this for the rest of my life.
Role at Cherished Companions:
The Greatest Thing About Working With Animals Is…
No matter the kind of day I’m having, the animals are always able to put a smile on my face.
